General Terms and Conditions (gTC)

GTC

1. Scope of the GTC

These General Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to all contracts concluded with Traveller’s World Verlag GmbH via remote communication means. Deviating terms and conditions of the customer as well as verbal agreements are not valid. By submitting or confirming an order by phone, the customer acknowledges these GTC as binding.

2. Conclusion of a Subscription Contract

The information in the offers is non-binding. The customer can submit an offer to conclude a contract in writing, electronically, or by phone. The contract is only concluded once the customer receives written confirmation of the order for the selected product. Both parties are bound by the contract from that moment onward. Minors require the consent of their legal representative for a valid contract conclusion.

3. Ordering Process

Simply place the desired item in the shopping cart. The order process begins by clicking the „Subscribe“ button on the shopping cart page. The system will guide you step by step through the process.

After a successful order, you will immediately receive an automatic order confirmation via email containing all relevant details. If you do not receive this email, please contact our customer service.

4. Contracting Parties

The contracting party for the customer is Traveller’s World Verlag GmbH, represented by Managing Director Reinhard Modritz, located at Adelgundenstraße 21, 80538 Munich, registered at the Munich District Court, VAT ID: DE 252006356.

5. Delivery Conditions

Delivery is made to the address specified by the customer unless otherwise agreed. Name or address changes must be reported immediately to the distribution partner. If issues with delivery arise due to untimely or missing address updates, the customer bears responsibility. In such cases, there is no entitlement to a replacement delivery.

Delivery is based on the date specified in the order or the next possible distribution date. The next available issue will be delivered accordingly. Delivery issues must be reported to customer service in writing, electronically, or by phone, and any necessary replacements will be arranged immediately. No compensation claims apply in cases of non-delivery due to factors beyond the publisher’s control, such as labor strikes or force majeure.

6. Payment Conditions

  • The subscription price stated in the offers includes shipping costs and VAT.
  • Payment must be made in advance for one year at a time.
  • If the subscription price increases, the new price applies from the date of the increase. However, prepaid subscription prices remain unchanged for the prepaid period.
  • Subscription price increases will be announced in advance within the respective magazine.

7. VAT (Value-Added Tax)

All prices for deliveries within Germany include 7% VAT (for magazines and subscriptions).

For orders shipped outside the EU, no VAT is charged, but the customer may be subject to country-specific taxes and duties.

8. Shipping Costs

Within Germany: Free shipping

International Orders:
Delivery is available to all EU countries and the rest of the world.

9. Payment Options

Customers can pay via PayPal, credit card or bank transfer.

10. Cancellation Policy

After the initial 12-month contract period, the subscription automatically renews for another year on an indefinite basis.

Cancellation must be submitted in text form and can be done at any time with a one-month notice period before the contract renewal date.

11. Data Protection

All personal data required for fulfilling the subscription order will be stored in compliance with data protection laws.

Customer data will be shared with the distribution partner but will not be passed on to third parties, except as legally required (e.g., in legal proceedings).

After the subscription contract ends, personal data will be stored only to the legally required extent.

12. Final Provisions

Any amendments or modifications to the contract must be made in text form.

Right of Withdrawal

1. Withdrawal Policy

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without providing any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date you or a third party (other than the carrier) received the first issue.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Traveller’s World Verlag GmbH, Adelgundenstraße 21, 80538 Munich, T +49 89 23 68 40 50) via a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification before the withdrawal period expires.

2. Consequences of Withdrawal

1. For Subscriptions
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except additional costs arising from choosing a more expensive delivery method than the standard option we offer), within 14 days from the date we receive your withdrawal notification.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. No fees will be charged for the refund.

You are not required to return the received magazine issues. However, if you choose to return them, you will bear the shipping costs.

 

2. For Individual Products (Single Issues)
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments, including delivery costs (except for additional costs due to a non-standard delivery method chosen by you), within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.

The refund will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. No fees will be charged for the refund.
